Hydres

Quintet - Premieres November 2027
Notes of intent
Five performers on stage, a set-up where loopers, microphones and musical instruments become partners in movement. Bodies compose and record, weaving an organic dialogue between gesture, sound and pulse in real time.
Festive, bouncing and energetic, this collective, cross-disciplinary performance is built on a series of sound experiments carried out directly on stage. The question at stake: how sound and movement relate across space and time, and how these individual bodily reactions try to "become a group".
Torann is conceived as an evolving form, playable in several versions with a variable number of performers and instruments, technically self-sufficient, on a stage as much as in a non-dedicated space.
Instruments & experimentation
Loopers, a vocal pedal, a drum machine, guitars, keyboards, violins, oboe, ukulele, microphones: the stage becomes an open studio. Each dancer amplifies their voice and breathing, and builds their own rhythmic loops; sound shaped live shapes the dramaturgy and the group's shifting states of body.

Watch
Research and experiments on the relationship between bodies and sound, spatial play and the collective occupation of a sensory space, both sonic and physical.
